Jim Beam Black Extra-Aged is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is aged for longer than the original Jim Beam, in new charred American oak casks.
The nose is sweet, with vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and a hint of nutmeg. The palate opens soft and silky, with burnt caramel, creamy vanilla, nuts and a spicy touch of oak. The finish runs from medium to long, warm and balanced, with echoes of wood and lingering vanilla.
