Junenmyo 7 Year Old is a smoky Japanese blended whisky from Saburomaru Distillery in Toyama. It is built around malt whisky matured for at least seven years, and it is heavily peated with a pronounced sweetness.
It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without added colouring or chill filtration.
The nose combines aromatic peat smoke and sweet malt with floral notes, gentle fruit and warming spice. The palate is full and smoky, with rounded sweetness, fruit and gentle spice. The finish is rich and lingering, with sweet malt, warming smoke and a smooth, lightly spiced close.
