Saburomaru The Sun is a Japanese blended whisky released in 2022 in an edition of 5320 bottles. It combines 50% malt whisky distilled and matured in Japan with 50% Scotch grain whisky aged between 12 and 16 years.
The whisky is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. Bottling took place on 11 July 2022. Saburomaru has been active since the 1950s, and the distillery was restored in 2017.
