Kadamba Agave Barrel is a single malt from Goa, India, bottled at 42.8% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It has been given a secondary maturation in emptied agave barrels.
The agave barrels add a herbaceous note to the malt character, alongside tropical fruit, honeyed sweetness, vanilla and gentle oak.
The nose opens with sweet pear and vanilla, then honey, caramel and gentle ginger. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, with honeyed caramel, tropical fruit and vanilla. The finish is warming, with peppery spice, sweet malt and fruit.
