Kamet is an Indian single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV, distilled from six-row barley grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky is aged in a combination of ex-bourbon American oak, ex-wine French oak and ex-sherry casks, both Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso.
The nose is vinous and fruity with oak spice, vanilla, caramel, subtle raisins and sweet dark chocolate. The palate is lively, with vibrant spice and fresh and dried fruit. The finish is long, warm and nutty, with dry and sherried sweetness.
