Kanosuke – 3 Year Old 2018 Distiller's Choice 2021 Cask 19250

This is a 3 year old single cask whisky from Kanosuke in Japan, distilled in 2018 and the distillery's first single cask release exclusive to Asia. It was selected by Master Blender Yoshitsugu Komasa. The whisky was matured in American white oak and then finished in a red wine cask. That wine influence is strong on the nose, which has a thick, pronounced dried fruit sweetness followed by creamy vanilla, and it sets this apart from the distillery's previous single malt release.
