Kanosuke – Double Distillery 2025 Limited Edition (70cl, 59%)

Double Distillery is a blend bringing together whisky from the Kanosuke and Hioki distilleries. This 2025 limited edition is bottled at 59% in a 70cl bottle. Hioki's pot still whisky is matured in re-charred ex-shochu casks, as is the Kanosuke single malt, which spent time in ex-sherry casks first. A small amount of whisky matured in rum casks completes the blend. Notes on the nose include dried apricot, plum jam, canelé, custard cream and Japanese cinnamon. The palate offers ripe pear, grated apple, white peach, raisin, ginger and crème brûlée, and the finish has salted caramel and a gentle, lingering oak.
