Kanosuke Mellow Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Kanosuke Mellow is a single malt Japanese whisky, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in the core range from Kanosuke Distillery, which was established in 2017 on the Kagoshima coast. The spirit comes from three different pot stills and is matured in re-charred American white oak casks that previously held Mellowed Kozuru shochu. The whisky has a rich amber colour. Ripe citrus, honey and caramel lead on the nose. The palate shows ginger, honey and lightly smoked nuts, and the finish is gently bitter.
