Kanosuke – Sherry Casks Vatted Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 48%)

This is a limited edition Japanese single malt from the Kanosuke distillery in Kagoshima, made by vatting whiskies from Oloroso and Cream sherry casks with a share matured in new American white oak. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill-filtered. The distillery was founded in 2017 and builds on the Komasa family's spirits-making, which began in 1883 with shochu. Dark cherries, rich fruit cake and exotic fruit are the notes most often described.
