Kanosuke Single Cask Mizunara 10th Anniversary is a single cask single malt from Kanosuke Distillery in Kagoshima, bottled at 53% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It marks the 10th anniversary of Mizunara The Shop, which has locations in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. The label carries a nature-inspired painting by artist Saumya Bharati.
The whisky matured for 58 months, about 4.8 years, in a first-fill Knob Creek rye cask, and 222 bottles were produced.
The nose is green apple and apricot with cinnamon and a little caramel. The palate has honey, vanilla, caramel popcorn and grapefruit candy, and the finish is grapefruit peel and salted caramel.
