Kanosuke Single Malt 2026 Limited Edition is a Japanese single malt from the Kanosuke distillery in Kagoshima, bottled in 2026 at 57% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
Master blender Yoshitsugu Komasa combined two cask profiles: whisky from bourbon barrels finished in apple brandy casks, and whisky from re-charred ex-shochu casks finished in white wine casks. The distillery was founded in 2017 and works with three copper stills of different design.
The aroma is floral and fruity, with delicate Hamago blossom and yuzu. On the palate come yuzu, pale grapes, honey and vanilla, with a light saltiness.
