Kanosuke – Single Malt Limited Edition 2026

This is the 2026 limited edition single malt from Kanosuke distillery, founded in 2017 on the coast of southern Japan. It was composed by master blender Yoshitsugu Komasa and is unfiltered. It combines whiskies matured in bourbon casks, finished in apple brandy casks, with distillate from re-charred shochu casks that was completed in white wine casks. The nose has floral hamago blossom, yuzu, light grapes and soft orange, with a light sea note. The palate brings sweet honey and vanilla, apples, white grapes, yuzu and a little salinity. The finish is long, with the bitter edge of ripe grapefruit and a mineral note of sea air.
