Kanosuke Single Malt Second Edition 2021 is a Japanese single malt from Kanosuke Distillery in Kagoshima, bottled at a cask strength of 57%. It was distilled in 2018 from unpeated malt and aged for three years in a mix of oak barrels, including first-fill re-charred ex-bourbon casks.
This second edition is a limited release of approximately 5,000 bottles.
The nose brings lemon, grapefruit, honey, vanilla and a touch of lemon tea. On the palate come bright citrus flavours with hints of cinnamon and sweet fresh fruit, and the finish is dark chocolate.
