Kavalan – Bourbon Oak Matured (70cl, 46%)

This is a Taiwanese single malt from Kavalan, matured in bourbon oak and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle as a distillery bottling. It is a lower strength, small batch counterpart to the distillery's Solist Bourbon series of single cask whiskies, and is sourced and vatted using the same type of bourbon casks. Where Solist bottlings are single casks at full strength, these batches are reduced to 46%. Honey, vanilla and tropical fruit flavours are characteristic of the style.
