Kavalan – Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish is a Taiwanese single malt, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the second whisky in the Concertmaster series. It is aged in refill casks from the distillery's own reserve, then finished in hand-picked Spanish sherry casks. The result is described as elegant, soft and fruity, with layered flavours shaped by Taiwan's subtropical climate. The nose opens with sweet vanilla and toffee, then silky chocolate, crème brûlée, ripe dark fruits, walnut and almond. The palate is round and thick, led by luscious tropical fruit that lingers long into the finish.
