Kavalan Ex Bourbon Oak is a Taiwanese single malt made by taking the distillery's Solist ex-Bourbon and reducing it with Kavalan spring water to 46% ABV. It is smooth, with a soft sweetness and little of the sharp edge of the alcohol.
The nose is clean and fresh, with tropical fruit, vanilla, coconut and spice. The palate is soft and well balanced, with natural sweetness, vanilla and oak spice, and a silky texture.
