This is a Kavalan peated single cask whisky, bottled in 2024 at 50.8% ABV as a La Maison du Whisky exclusive for Whisky Live Paris 2024. It was aged in oak casks that previously held a peated single malt. Its character is described as that of Islay whisky: earthy peat, smoke that lingers through to the empty glass, medicinal and spicy notes and a distinct mineral saltiness. The aromas and flavours move between fruit, honey, liquorice and chocolate.
