Kavalan – Port Cask 7 Year Old Single Malt (58.6%)

This is a single cask Taiwanese single malt from Kavalan, aged seven years and part of the Solist series. It was distilled on 14 July 2009, matured in a first fill port cask and bottled on 3 May 2017 at a cask strength of 58.6% ABV. The outturn was 175 bottles. The port maturation is paired with the warm climate of Taiwan. The whisky is described with red fruit, berries, malt, vanilla, oak and a port sweetness.
