Kavalan Solist Rum Cask is a single cask Taiwanese single malt matured in a cask that previously held rum. It is the first single cask whisky from Kavalan to be matured this way, and rum cask bottlings had not been released under the Solist name before. The rum cask layers fruit and sweetness over the distillery's fruity spirit. Kavalan was established in 2005 as the first distillery on the island of Taiwan. It stands in Yilan County, where it benefits from pure water, fresh air and a subtropical climate.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
