Kavalan – Solist Vinho Barrique 4 Year Old Single Malt Taiwan Whisky (54.8%)

This is a four year old single cask single malt from Kavalan in Taiwan. It was distilled on 3 December 2015 and bottled at cask strength, 54.8% ABV, on 27 August 2020. The cask gave 226 bottles. It matured in specially prepared wine casks, the hallmark of the Solist Vinho Barrique series. The notes include wine-influenced wood and tropical fruit, with vanilla, spice and malt. Oak structure is also described.
