This Kilchoman single malt from Islay is part of the Uniquely Islay Series and comes from bourbon casks. It is in a 70cl bottle at 56% ABV.
Kilchoman opened in 2005 under Anthony Wills, the first new distillery on the island in 124 years. It is found on Rockside Farm in the north-west of Islay.
The distillery says its whisky is the only one that may be called 100% Islay, as all ingredients and working steps are local to the site. It is the only Islay distillery set back from the sea.
