Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength 2021 is an Islay single malt, bottled at 58.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Bourbon casks are named as its cask type.
Kilchoman opened in 2005, founded by Anthony Wills, and was the first new distillery on Islay for 124 years. It stands on Rockside Farm, a former farming estate in the north-west of the island, and is the only Islay distillery not directly on the coast.
Its whisky may be called '100% Islay', because every ingredient and every step of production is handled on site.
