Sanaig Cask Strength is a Kilchoman single malt from Islay, an original distillery bottling at 57.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Kilchoman was opened in 2005 by Anthony Wills, the first new whisky distillery on Islay for 124 years. It sits on Rockside Farm, a former farming estate in the north-west of the island, and is the only Islay distillery not directly beside the sea. The distillery's whisky is the only one allowed to be called 100% Islay, since all ingredients are produced and all steps carried out on site.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
