Kildalton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 19 Years Old Batch 1 (70cl, 42%)

A 19-year-old Islay blended malt Scotch whisky from Living Souls, released as Batch 1 and bottled in 2024. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 42% ABV and was matured in refill bourbon and sherry casks. It is a so-called teaspooned whisky from an Islay distillery with a cult following. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The notes describe elegant peat, campfire and wet autumn leaves, set against maritime saltiness, fruit, and spices such as cinnamon and liquorice.
