A 12 year old Campbeltown single malt from the Glengyle distillery, better known under the Kilkerran name. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is full, with smoke, lemon, orange, wood, wax and a sea breeze. The palate opens peppery with ginger, oak and smoke, then eases into softer vanilla and honey. The finish is medium in length, with some lingering smoke and fruit.
