This is an 8 year old single malt from Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, bottled under the Kilkerran name in a 70cl bottle. Glengyle was founded in 1872 by William Mitchell and began producing again in 2004. This release was matured in bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength.
Peat is prominent, and beneath it sit natural vanilla and a subtle roasted barley character.
