Kirin Fuji Sanroku Signature Blend (70cl, 50%)

Fuji Sanroku Signature Blend is a Japanese blended whisky from Kirin, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Launched in Japan in 2018, it replaced Fuji Sanroku Tarujukugenshu 50°. Each cask in the blend was hand selected by Kirin's Jota Tanaka. It comes from the Fuji distillery, built in 1972, which uses soft water filtered through volcanic rock and fed by melted snow. The nose is toffee, pineapple, passion fruit and apricot jam. The palate adds orange, rye spice, nutmeg, cloves and wood shavings. The finish is well controlled in its wood, with rye spice, smooth bourbon notes, passion fruit and pineapple.
