A Japanese single grain whisky from Kirin's Fuji Sanroku brand, in a 70cl bottle. It is a release from Kirin's master distiller, Jota Tanaka.
On the nose there is creme caramel, stewed apple with cinnamon, dried banana and nutmeg, along with creamy oak, spearmint and a note of shellfish. The palate brings baking spices, pepper, sea salt and brown sugar, and with water it shows orange, liquorice and rye spice. The finish carries icing sugar, nutmeg, brown sugar and liquorice.
