Kujira 24 Years Old Ryukyu Whisky (70cl)

Kujira 24 Years Old is a Ryukyu whisky made by Kumesen Shuzo in Okinawa, in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled entirely from rice and was matured for more than 24 years in first fill bourbon barrels. Okinawa belongs to the Ryukyu Islands, a chain of subtropical islands at the southern tip of Japan. The warm climate means whisky matures in less time there, which is said to give a stronger aroma and a bolder taste. This is a small batch, limited edition release, with 6000 bottles made worldwide.
