Kujira Ryukyu Whisky 10 Year Old White Oak Virgin Cask

A 10 year old Ryukyu whisky from Kujira, made in Japan and distilled from 100% Indica rice. It matured for more than 10 years in virgin White Oak casks. The nose is rich and sweet, with buttery caramel and sapwood spice reminiscent of bourbon. The palate is sweet and buttery, with caramel, roasted wood and liquorice, followed by cloves and cinnamon. The finish is long and spicy, with a touch of bitterness before the sweetness returns.
