Lagavulin 26 Year Old is an Islay single malt and the first 26 year old to appear in the Lagavulin Special Release series. This is the 2021 edition, bottled at 44.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is a single vintage malt that matured in first-fill Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, a style it is said to express fully. Its balance and smooth flavour are described as shaped by the decades in cask.
