This is an 8 year old single malt from Lagavulin, in a 70cl bottle.
It was inspired by Alfred Barnard's visit to the distillery in the 1880s, when he tried an eight-year-old he called 'exceptionally fine'.
The whisky is big and smoky, with a sweet spice that comes through when a drop of water is added.
