This is an independent bottling of 16 year old Laphroaig from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky is a smoky, smouldering vatting of Laphroaig refill hogsheads, which were then finished in an ex-Oloroso barrique.
Laphroaig runs seven stills with a capacity of over 3 million litres a year. It keeps its own maltings, which still supply 20% of its needs.
