This is an 18 year old Islay single malt from Laphroaig, distilled in 2001 and bottled by Hunter Laing as the third release in its Kinship series, issued in 2019. It is bottled at a cask strength of 56.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
Sherry casks play a part in its character. The aromas combine sherry, oak syrup, medicinal notes, liquorice toffee and a nuttiness from those casks.
