This is a 25 year old Laphroaig single malt from Islay, bottled at 53.4% ABV. It has spent a quarter of a century maturing in carefully selected casks.
The nose opens with the classic Laphroaig smoke, set against vanilla, dried fruit and honey. On the palate the texture is silky, with oak, leather, dark chocolate and dried spices, and the finish is long, complex and warmly smoky.
