Laphroaig 25 Year Old The Bessie Williamson Story is an Islay single malt, an official distillery bottling filled in 2019 at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The release is a tribute to Bessie Williamson, who ran Laphroaig and was the first female distillery manager to own and run a Scotch whisky distillery in the twentieth century. She came to embody the warm, rich Laphroaig character, with its unmistakable Islay stamp.
