A hand-selected four-grain straight bourbon from Laws Whiskey House in Denver, Colorado, bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV) in a 75cl bottle.
Laws mills, cooks, ferments, distils and ages on site, using heirloom grains from family-owned Colorado farms. The mash bill combines corn, wheat, rye and barley, fermented in the open air on the grain, distilled in a copper pot-column still and aged in 53-gallon charred oak barrels.
It is described as rich and full-bodied, with layered oak, caramel and baking spice and a warmth that comes from the higher strength.
