Little Book Chapter 10 'All The Wiser' is a blended straight whiskey, the tenth release in the annual Little Book series created by Freddie Noe, 8th generation master distiller at James B. Beam Distilling Co. It is bottled at cask strength, uncut and unfiltered, in a 75cl bottle.
The blend brings together mature bourbons from across the distillery's portfolio with components finished in sherry casks and toasted bourbon casks.
The nose offers toasted oak, dark caramel, dried figs, molasses, vanilla bean and light baking spices. On the palate there is sweet cooked agave, caramel, toasted oak, brown sugar, cinnamon, dark raisins and a touch of sherry sweetness. The finish is long and warm, with dark fruits, toasted wood and cinnamon.
