Lustau Manzanilla Papirusa is a pale, bone-dry manzanilla from the Solera Familiar collection, made in Sanlúcar de Barrameda under the Manzanilla de Sanlúcar D.O. It is 100% Palomino, aged biologically under flor in a solera and criaderas system, with an average age of about five years.
The nose is saline and brisk, with chamomile, green apple and hay, plus a little fresh bread from the flor. The palate is lean, crisp and dry, with green apple peel, lemon zest and almond. The finish is clean and saline, with chalky dryness and a floral hint of chamomile.
