M&H Elements Red Wine Cask is a single malt from the Milk & Honey distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered with no added colour.
The whisky was matured entirely in Israeli red wine casks. The warm climate speeds up maturation.
The nose has ripe red fruit such as cherries and raspberries, soft caramel, floral honey and spiced oak. The palate is creamy and full, with plums, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa and silky tannins. The finish is medium to long, with dried fruit, soft leather and lingering fruity sweetness.
