This Mac-Talla Amarone is a single malt from Islay, bottled for the 2025 Feis Ile, the Islay whisky festival. It was released in an edition of 928 bottles, each in a 70cl bottle at 54.3% ABV.
It shows the robust, smoky character of Islay.
On the palate, velvety dark chocolate coats the tongue, followed by juicy, fruity sweetness and then waves of warming peat smoke. Dark fruit is joined by salt, pepper and spicy peat.
