Lighthouse is a 2024 limited edition Islay single malt from Mac-Talla, bottled at 54% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a combination of Oloroso, PX, bourbon, virgin oak and Bordeaux wine casks, which gives the whisky a fruity, layered character.
On the palate there are layers of dates, raisins and sultanas, mixed with lively orange peel and marmalade. Spicy notes of cinnamon and clove add depth, and a coastal peat smoke runs through it.
