Mac-Talla Mara is an Islay single malt at cask strength, 58.2%, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak casks and centres on the coastal character often found in whiskies from the island.
On the palate there is pork chop with a touch of honey, still full of sea breeze and maritime malt. The finish brings petrichor, sea salt and a hint of smoky bacon.
