This is a Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Cask, a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% ABV and matured entirely in sherry casks. It carries the older style of label and packaging and was bottled for duty-free shops.
The box shows Sara Midda's watercolour of Easter Elchies. The 12 year old dates back to 1980, when Macallan took over its own bottlings from Campbell, Hope & King and inherited an age statement of 12 years.
