Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Collection is a Speyside single malt matured for twelve years in sherry casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration and without added colour.
The nose leads with sherry, alongside ripe apples, pears and oranges, with cinnamon and cloves. On the palate come dried fruit such as raisins, figs and dates, then dark chocolate, caramel and a little cinnamon. The finish is long and soft, with sweet sherry and light oak.
