Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak Collection is a Speyside single malt from the Macallan distillery at Easter Elchies, Craigellachie. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and is of natural colour.
The whisky was matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez in Spain.
The nose is complex, with vanilla, dried fruits and ginger. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, balancing fruit, oak and spice, and the finish is long, with sweet dried fruits, oak and spice.
