A 12 year old Macallan single malt at 40%, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured mainly in sherry-seasoned European oak casks.
Ginger, dried fruit and spice run through the notes. The nose has dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak with ginger and nutmeg. Raisins and sultanas come on the palate with ginger syrup, then sweet cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long, with oak and warming ginger.
