This is a 15 year old Double Cask single malt from Macallan, a Speyside distillery. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle and has natural colour.
The whisky was matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks.
The nose offers dried fruits, toffee and vanilla with smooth oak, baked apple, honey and chocolate. On the palate, sweet raisin and sultana build alongside vanilla, wood spice and citrus. The finish is warm with ginger, turning to caramel and citrus, with a creamy mouthfeel.
