This is a 15 year old single malt from Macallan, matured in both European and American oak. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour.
The two oak types give it a sweet, spiced character, with a creamy, soft texture.
On the nose there are warm spices such as cinnamon and ginger, a touch of orange peel and dried fruit, with caramel and vanilla. The palate brings vanilla, honey and sweet fruit, with a spicy, slightly nutty oak note. The finish is long, with spice, dried fruit and oak.
