This is an 18-year-old Macallan from Speyside, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2025. It is named Diamonds Are Forever and issued as a 55th Anniversary Release.
The nose is described as refined, with aged oak, soft vanilla and dried fruit. Caramel and vanilla open on the palate, joined by subtle layers of champagne truffles, cocoa, spiced coffee, dried figs and warming spices.
The finish is pleasantly warming.
